The Ultimate Luxury Trip for Super Bowl LVI in 2022

The Ultimate Luxury Trip for Super Bowl LVI in 2022

Although we are mere weeks away from Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay, Florida – few, if any, of us will travel down to catch the game and enjoy the festivities. Instead, most of us will be at home watching the game, making Super Bowl bets, and eating chicken wings.

However, that does not mean we cannot dream about taking a trip to the next Super Bowl - which is in Los Angeles - a city full of amazing food, fun, and luxury experiences. Here are some things to consider adding to your Los Angeles trip in 2022 to get the most out of it.

The Most Expensive Stadium Ever Built

SoFi Stadium – the home of the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers, and Super Bowl LVI – is by far the most expensive stadium ever built. The entire complex’s total construction costs – including development – are estimated between $5-6 billion. If estimates are on the high end, the total cost is more than three times the next most expensive stadium ever constructed – Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

The stadium is state-of-the-art, with 260 executive suites, field cabanas, world-class restaurants and bars. Even if you go to the stadium for a regular season football game, concert, or another event – you will have access to one of the best stadium experiences in the world.

Los Angeles Food Scene is World Renown

Los Angeles is home to one of the best food scenes in the world. The city offers something for everyone, from luxury restaurants serving the stars to famous food trucks slinging quick but amazing bits on the beach.

The city’s diversity helps make it a top spot for many foodies. Many classic foods such as the Cobb salad and cheeseburger first appeared in Los Angeles, which paved the way for new concoctions such as Korean short rib tacos and carrot tartine. Make sure to leave plenty of time in your schedule, though, as restaurants are spread out in Los Angeles.

Enjoy a Few Days Before or After in Palm Springs

Palm Springs, which is less than a two-hour drive away, is easily accessible for Los Angeles residents and visitors. While not as infamous for luxury as it once was, Palm Springs still offers plenty of boutique and upscale experiences to visitors. If you enjoy the Super Bowl, maybe save your trip to Palm Springs for a little recovery after a weekend of consistent eating and drinking.

Shopping in Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills is home to one of the most famous fashion strips in the world – Rodeo Drive. Rodeo Drive is home to many fashion luxury clothing brands – such as Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, and Prada and its location is in the center of Los Angeles’ most upscale neighborhoods – sandwiched between Santa Monica and West Hollywood. Speaking of West Hollywood…

Enjoy Classic Style and Luxury in West Hollywood

Although Hollywood is not all glitz and glam, there are pockets in the neighbourhood – especially in West Hollywood – where you can find luxury hotels and outings. Renown places such as Heritage Classics (a vintage car showroom) and Dan Tana’s (one of West Hollywood’s best-known restaurants) are a great example of classic Hollywood opulence and style.

Golf at Torrey Pines

Although it is in San Diego and not Los Angeles – it is worth the trip if you visit Los Angeles and look to play some golf. Torrey Pines is one of the most popular golf courses on the Golden Coast and worth the $200 green fees. The course is attached to a five-star hotel and some great restaurants. If you do not feel like making the trek to San Diego, Los Angeles has many golf options – although none as famous or revered as Torrey Pines.

Rent a Luxury Car

Los Angeles is a commuter city, so the easiest way to get around is to drive. Luckily for visitors, renting a luxury car is easy. The city is full of options offering some of the world’s best cars. While you may not want a car for the entirety of your trip to Los Angeles, renting something fun and fast for a road trip up the coast is a great way to see the natural beauty surrounding America’s second-largest city.

Any way you take it – luxury or not – a trip to Los Angeles offers everyone a great time. From Hollywood to Venice Beach, amazing sporting experiences to world-renowned food – the city is worth a visit – whether you do it up in style or on a budget.
