Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady will be the first luxury cruise ship to sail from Portsmouth when it debuts this summer with sailings from August 6 to August 27. It will travel along the English Riviera coastline.

The ‘Summer Soiree Series’ is now available to book on VirginVoyages.com to give guests the opportunity to experience everything that brand has to offer, including more than 20 on board eateries. As an offer available to UK-residents, lead-in rates for Sea Terrace cabins for these voyages are £499 for three-night itineraries, and £599 for three-night itineraries.

Tom McAlpin, Chief Executive and President of Virgin Voyages, said: “After more than a year of waiting and a major emphasis on a safe return, we’re ecstatic to announce these new sailings.

“We look at our UK summer voyages as a homecoming to pay homage to our British roots, and what an excellent way to kick-off our sailing season before heading back to PortMiami.”

Anyone booking a Virgin Voyages sailing from Portsmouth will need to have had both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine at least two weeks before the departure date. The ship will sail at reduced capacity to allow for social distancing and health and safety protocols will be in place.
